2017 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Spotted In Production View : Details and Images

The current generation Honda CBR1000RR (A.K.A. Honda Fireblade) seem like its been there since ages. While other motorcycle manufacturers are pumping in their R&D efforts to get the max out of their 1000 CC motorcycle, Honda had been very silent.  It’s not secret either that the motorcycle will arrive some time in 2017, along with the RVF1000 V4. The current generation CBR1000RR has been around for quite some time and besides the occasional visual updates, we really haven’t seen many groundbreaking changes in this litre-class from the Honda. The hopes were really high especially after looking at those renders from some of the Japanese magazines.

So after waiting for a very long time, we finally saw the next generation Honda CBR1000RR in production guise on the Grobnik racetrack – Croatia (Courtesy: Sandro Rubinic via Twitter) and it’s not as radically designed machine as we had expected it to be. The front of the CBR1000RR in the spy images does remind us of the 2016 Honda CBR500R.

We hope the 2017 litre-class from Honda to boast close to 200PS of power which is the current benchmark in its segment. We can also see a big exhaust canister to comply with the Euro-IV norms. Apart from a powerful motor, the CBR1000RR is also likely a whole host of electronic updates as well.
