KTM 390 Adventure - Eicma 2019

KTM has finally revealed the 390 Adventure at the EICMA 2019 in Milan, Italy. It is based on already successful KTM 390 Duke. The new KTM 390 Adventure is focused on touring and light offroading.

KTM 390 Adventure is powered by the exact same engine that is available with KTM 390 Duke and the KTM RC 390. It is a 373 cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that develops 43 hp and 37 Nm of peak torque. The gearbox is a 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch.

KTM 390 Adventure gets 43 mm upside-down forks at the front having 170 mm travel. While at the rear, it has a mono-shock 177 mm travel.
KTM 390 Adventure comes with a grid pipe tubular frame. Just like the Duke and RC 390 but it has been slightly modified to add more trail angle for plush riding stance.
It gets a 19-inch tire at the front and a 17-inch unit at the rear. However, as everyone was expecting spoked wheels from an adventure motorcycle. It still has alloy wheels which tells us that the motorcycle can only be used for mild off-roading. KTM 390 Adventure as like other KTM 390 gets split seats.
There is a 320 mm disc at the front, while the rear has a 230 mm disc. The bike also features dual-channel ABS.

With respect to the features, the KTM 390 Adventure gets:

  • LED headlamp,
  • TFT display,
  • Aluminum handlebar,
  • Split seat
  • Plastic plus aluminum bashplate

KTM also showcased it fully kitted with powerparts version as well at Eicma 2019.

We should expect the new KTM 390 Adventure to be launched soon in India and the rest of the world.

Other than 390 Adventure, KTM also showcased 1290 Super Duke R and 890 Duke R at the EICMA 2019 in Milan, Italy.
