Ford launches All New Fiesta

After a host of promotional and innovative marketing moves that has attracted a lot of sedan enthusiasts in the country, curious and anxious to get a look, feel and drive in this new car. Ford Motors has now officially launched the new Fiesta sedan
in India. Having already sold over a million units worldwide, the globally tried and tested Ford Fiesta is only ‘new’ to Indian soil.

The new Fiesta offers features that haven’t so far been seen in other vehicles from its segment. Among these are Advanced Bluetooth Voice Control which will allows hands-free control over mobile phone, radio, CD, USB, iPod and electronic climate control. Fiesta comes with cruise control that allows the driver to set and maintain speeds while driving on highways. It is fitted with front dual airbags, Anti-Lock Brake system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and steering wheel audio controls.

Fiesta will be driven by its first-ever 1.5-litre powertrains – 1.5 L Ti-VCT and 1.5 L Duratorq TDCi engines. The car will deliver mileage of 17 km/L (petrol) and 23.5 km/L (diesel), according to ARAI. The engine is BS-IV compliant. The car, available in seven colours, has rear parking sensors that allow for better control while reversing.

For safety reasons the company claims construction with high strength and boron steel is aimed ensures better protection to the driver and passengers. The company is offering a 2-year warranty/ 100,000 km on the latest Ford.

looking at the segment with the likes of Honda City, Volkswagen Vento and newly launched Verna are getting good sales, with this price range Fiesta will give its competition a good fight.
