Toyota launches its entry-level hatchback car Etios Liva

After the positive response of Etios, Toyota decided to launch its hatchback version of the Etios called the Etios Liva which we have already seen in the Auto Expo. Toyota Liva to take on Swift, Polo, Micra in hatchback segment. The prices of hatchbacks such as market leader Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20, Volkswagen Polo, Nissan Micra, Skoda Fabia and Fiat Punto start from Rs 4.3 lakh and go over Rs 8 lakh for different variants.

Toyota is keeping the price very aggressively starting from Rs.3.99 lakhs, with the warranty of 3years/100,000 kilometers (which Chevrolet also provides to the Indian customers). Toyota Etios Liva is attracting quite a crowd. This small hatchback from Toyota which was only introduced last month has seen record bookings of over 1000 numbers in just 3 days.

The car exteriors are finished with a lustrous looks and comes with anti-scratch paint. The design of the car body and the ground clearance of the car match Indian road conditions. The wheel base and the braking system of the car gives safety drive to the customers. The side mirrors and the wipers at the front and the back all are set extraordinarily. The head lamps and the tail lamps design and the logo of the company gives much attraction to the car. Fog lights also enabled with this model for better ride on rainy or foggy weather and also for the night drives. The interiors are clad in fine leather on the dash board and the seats are very comfortable for even long rides. The suspension system and the interiors will give pleasant emotion for the customers.

The Toyota Etios Liva is launched in petrol variant of 1.2 litre of MPF1 technology. A five-speed gear box with manual transmission system will be the additional feature for the car. This engine can produce a maximum power of 80BHP . According to ARAI, the Liva has been officially tested to offer 18.31 kilometers to the liter.
