Is Lamborghini Testing Veyron twin?

Lamborgini

If you were saddened by the death of Bugatti Veyron 16.4, prepare to cheer up as a spy photo has caught a Lamborghini Aventador prototype wearing the specially-designed wheels from the aforementioned model.

That isn’t much to go off of, but Autoblog.nl speculates the vehicle is a high-performance tester that will be able to hit 250 mph (402 km/h). We’re going to err on the side of caution and chalk it up as an interesting abnormality, for the time being, but there’s little doubt Lamborghini will eventually introduce a range-topping variant.

As we have previously reported, the standard LP700-4 Aventador has a 6.5-liter V12 engine with
690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed transmission which enables the 1575 kg (3,472 lb) supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). Keep your fingers crossed.
