BMW G 310 GS Motorcycle Spyshots Emerge Online

BMW Motorrad has finally broken the silence on its Adventure Touring motorcycle derivative of the upcoming G 310 R. These spy shots taken in Italy, it has been finally confirmed that the small adventure motorcycle is coming really soon. The entire community of motorcycling enthusiasts would now be happy to see this brilliant placed motorcycle. Now the motorcycle is seen on the roads as well.

The overall design has been taken from the BMW R1200 GS, the real deal of adventure touring motorcycles and one of the best-selling across the world. You can make out a lot of details that differentiate the BMW G 310 GS from the BMW G 310 R.

The G 310 GS features USDs up front with larger travel. The rear shock is not a link type but conventional mono shock. The G 310 GS is said to get a 19-inch wheel upfront and a 17-inch wheel at the rear. These test mules are running dual-purpose on/off-road tyres. The beak-like protrusion of the mudguard up front and the small windscreen along with the slightly re-designed fuel tank make up the visual differences from the G 310 R. The bash-plate guarding the engine, further typifies the off-roading/touring credentials of the G 310 GS. The G 310 GS test mules shown in the photographs seem to have an extended carrier for luggage at the rear.

The G 310 GS will share the same 313cc, single-cylinder engine which churns out 34bhp and 28Nm of torque that is on the G 310 R. Hopefully, the BMW G 310 GS will be making its official debut at the EICMA Motorcycle Show to be held in Milan, Italy. Expect the motorcycle to come to India sometime in 2017. If BMW really wants to grab a substantial slice of the entry-level ADV motorcycles in India, it should keep the pricing under ? 3 lakh
